What you should know before you join the group!

You are able to communicate with others that are going through the same experience. All mail to the group is sent via e-mail in a secure confidential environment only to members of this group. Your e-mail address will be kept confidential and will NOT appear on any letters posted to the group. No member other than our moderators will see your ISP e-mail address.

Each applicant is approved by the moderators. Membership is available to Parents, Spouses, Family Members and Friends of a sufferer only. 

You may post questions to the group or our moderators. Each question is first approved by a moderator. The moderator who is a professional in this field will respond to your letter, so may members of the group.

As a member of this group you may also participate by sharing your view to any letter that is posted to the group.

By joining you will educate yourself with regard to Psychological Eating Disorders. You will learn to find ways to cope with the disorder. 

You only use your first name and the first initial of your surname at the end of each letter you post. Full instructions are posted once your application has been accepted. Please read them carefully. When replying to a letter DO NOT attach the previous letter to your reply. It is recommended that you DO NOT use the reply button on your browser.

All facilities are FREE OF CHARGE 

Conditions of membership.

• Because this facility provides support for all types of Psychological Eating Disorders the appropriate food distortion including, illogical eating habits, calorie and fat intake should be used in the right context.     
• No mention shall be made that could influence or direct someone within this group into any further distress.
• No member may use abusive language that may offend any other on this group.
• All postings are first moderated by the moderator. The moderator has the right to withhold postings, decline or withdraw membership. 
• No person shall advertise nor promote any organization or individual without the prior consent of the Anorexia and Bulimia Family Support Group. All conditions apply on hand of your application being accepted.

Instructions on how to join

At the top of the page delete where it says 'Enter E Mail Address' and type in your own e-mail address. ( Make sure it is correct )
Click the Yahoo Button to the right of the e-mail address.
You will then leave our web site and Yahoo Groups new account will appear.
Read the form lines carefully and complete, check that your e-mail address is correct, complete all the instructions carefully. You must complete your personal profile. Your First name and your Surname your age, gender and the country you reside in.( Remember that all your personal particulars is NOT visible to any members of this group). Yahoo groups have given us an undertaking that all e-mail addresses and names will remain confidential.

Once your membership is accepted you will receive an important e-mail. If possible print the e-mail and read all the instructions carefully. If you do not complete your personal information correctly your membership will be terminated.

Once your membership has been approved you may enter the web site to set up more information, you will need your yahoo ID user name and your personal password. You will also receive a full list of conditions.
